MAKING PEACE
Join coach Eric Lanigan for a month-long journey that will transform your relationship with games, gaming, and your children.
It is possible to give your child real freedom without feeling like you’re ruining their futures, making them hate you, or failing as a parent.
By distinguishing between engagement and obsession, you can dramatically improve the relationship with your child, better understand their motivations, and end the cycle of punishment, shame, and resentment.
Whether your child is age 6 or 19 (or anywhere between), I’m here to guide you through this journey.

HOW IT WORKS
This online workshop takes place over four 60-minute group video calls: June 4th, 11th, 18th, and 25th, 2019. You may participate from anywhere in the world with a reliable internet connection (or phone connection, if your internet is unreliable or you prefer voice-only).
Each call happens on a Tuesday from 11:30am-12:30pm PT (2:30-3:30pm ET). If you can’t make one of them, that’s okay—we’ll record it for you.
This is a small, focused workshop with a limit of 12 parent participants, ensuring that your voice will be heard and specific needs addressed.
Think of each call like a long Q&A session, where Eric addresses topics based on your personal concerns as well as the practical assignments suggested the previous week.
For personal attention between calls, there will be a private discussion group on Facebook. For one-on-one attention, you may write to Eric directly, and he will respond promptly.
“First, this course connected us to other concerned and cool parents. All different, but with the same struggle. The moderators facilitated us connecting with our own fears and to explicitly state them which was mind blowing in itself, as they reflected a lot of our own experiences and projected into future thinking. By shifting focus to connection and relationship they were able to help us see a better path than our entrenched resistance. I miss the course!”
– J. S. – Parent of Gamer, Past Participant
“It has been a blessing to be able to focus on connection. Really getting curious and allowing my own love of gaming to enter into our experience, even if the actual playing is not healthy for me. We continue to impose limits, but also practice flexibility on limits and empowering him through helping him learn practices for regulating emotions and taking regular breaks for physical activity.”
– J. F. – Parent of Gamer, Past Participant
